McGowan House is a three story Victorian mansion, acquired by the University in 1973, that houses approximately 30 students. McGowan House was originally named Westmoreland House, in reference to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. It was renamed after Monsignor Andrew J. McGowan in May 1999, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of his ordination.
