Attends Convention of
State Teachers Held
In Caprtol City.
At a meeting held recently, the following
officers were elected: Presi,
dent, James Kelly; Vice-President,
Joseph Gallagher; Secretary, Thomas
Harrigan; Treasurer, Zigmund Ja'
kubczyk.
It is rumored that the Club expects
to be the nucleus of a Wilkes'Barre
Chapter of Saint Thomas college
alumni next year. Viewed from the
fact that membership is confined
to seniors from the Diam.ond City,
this is most probable. Such a result
would be pleasingly received by
graduates of the college and under'
classmen, both of whom would be
eligible to join; the former as soon as
a charter would be received, the latter
at the moment of their gradua'
tion.

SCIENCE PRESIDENT
The latest organi4ation to have
found its inception at Saint Thomas
college is the Saint Thomas College
Club of Wilkes-Barre. Composed
solely of seniors of the present graduating
class from the neighborhood
of Wilkes,Barre and vicinity, it ap'
pears to have a promising future.
The purpose of the organization as
expressed in its constitution is two'
fold: To devise ways Ci.D.d means to
aid and "boost" St. Thomas college
and to establish a social organi4ation
of Wilkes - Barre fellow classmen.
With these objectives as incentives,
the members of the club pledge themselves
to cherish the name of their
Alma Mater and to do all that they
can to promote such matters as may
be to its advantage.
